De La Haye Royalty Services are members of the Mechanical Copyright Protection Society's audit panel.
Prior to making the switch to royalty auditing Roger La Haye had worked for various independent record and music publishing companies where he specialised in royalties and copyright administration. These included Dick James Music, Charisma Records and Music and Stiff Records, before becoming General Manager of the publishing division of Mute Records.
He then acted as the royalty consultant to a firm of West End accountants with a large music clientele, where he carried out royalty audits for both in-house and third party clients. In addition he was responsible for handling many other aspects of their client's music industry matters.
De La Haye Royalty Services has established long term relationships with many of its clients, not only carrying out royalty audits but also undertaking regular desk-top reviews of their statements as well as advising on the royalty aspects of contract negotiations. Its small size means that it gives a personal service to all its clients and its specialist base means that no other work interferes with the audit process.
